It's so nice to meet you, I'm Kristina. I was born and raised in rural Alberta and that's where I still live with my family. We recently moved onto an acreage where we are busy with 2 cats, 2 dogs, and my budding interest in gardening! Thankfully my husband is super handy and such a good sport, being game for *most* of my hairbrained schemes!
I started my career in administration over 10 years ago. I began in a small chiropractic clinic working closely with both the patients and doctors. That first experience was so unique. It was personal, and specialized, and I loved the ability to really get to know the clients as well as my employers; To intimately know what their needs were and thus move directly toward meeting those needs was special. That job sparked a deep desire for client satisfaction as well as a love of new skills and information. I've since worked in several diverse office situations and have had the opportunity to expand my knowledge base. And while the skills I've acquired in those different settings along the way have been invaluable, I've come to realize that small business is my passion -- the people, the vision, and the personalization of what these types of proprietors offer. Essentially, customer service that's second to none in niches that are unique.
As a mom of 4, ranging from ages 16 to 1, (yikes!) the traditional office setting has become something that doesn't fit my family. But with that comes the opportunity to grow and learn in so many new ways! Those first loves remain; customer care, employer loyalty, a hunger for learning, and a deep desire to be an asset in any setting I find myself in.
